Hello Everyone!

My name is Jordan Brown and I am a Deakin University student based in Perth. I am studying online, in the Cloud, for a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology – majoring in Cyber Security and minoring in Application Development.

The reasons for my chosen areas of study are that I wish to extend my knowledge and career options to become an IT Professional, as I am currently working full time as an IT Helpdesk Officer in the Mining Industry.

My career aspirations include expanding my skills in IT, creating new experiences, developing my learning in web design and expanding my career options. With an interest in IT, I notice the continuous growth and improvement in technology; this influences my career interests and goals in Software and Application Development, Organisation and Security. I seek to become more involved in the interests sides of IT as I continue on my learning journey.
